Theatre 7 is excited to announce the cast of “Clue: The Musical” the first show in our 2017-2018 season of “Murder, Mystery and Mayhem!” showing October 13-15 and 20-22 at the Decatur Civic Center. “We’re thrilled with the outpouring of support from the community for auditions,” said Director Tanya Haubner. “We’re very excited to be bringing in several new actors to the Theatre 7 family.”
The cast includes Ben Wilson as Mr. Boddy; Gina Tomlinson as Mrs. Peacock; Brock Hayden as Professor Plum, Emily Massey as Miss Scarlet, Cameron Williams as Colonel Mustard, Emily Steele as Mrs. White, Tyler Bowlin as Mr. Green; and Merijha Branson as the Detective. The production team includes Music Director Brenna Pfiefer, Assistant Director Hayley Kot, Producer Josh Sisson, Set Designer and Master Builder Brian Haubner, Props Coordinator Michelle Stephens, Costumes Dina Fryman and Hair & Makeup Keyli Morganthaler.
Due to the high turnout, unfortunately not everyone who auditioned could be cast in the show. Haubner would like to invite anyone interested in helping out with set construction, costumes, props, backstage or ushering, to please contact her at firstname.lastname@example.org. Keep an eye out for Professor Plum, Miss Scarlett and Colonel Mustard next weekend as they explore Decatur Celebration and kickoff Theatre 7’s season of murder, mystery and mayhem!
The internationally popular game is now a fun-filled musical which brings the world’s best known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room and with what weapon? The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the evening. Like the game, audience members choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons and rooms; there are 216 possible solutions! Only one hard nosed female detective is qualified to unravel the merry mayhem.
Opening night for the two-week run of “Clue: The Musical” is Friday, October 13. Performances are 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 2 p.m. Sundays at the Decatur Civic Center, 1 Gary K Anderson Plaza. Tickets are $15. Or, season passes are available starting August 7 at theatre7.tix.com. Groups of 20 or more are eligible for discounted rates. Contact Josh Sisson at email@example.com for more information.
